Somewhere close to this spot a school house was constructed near the top
of the hill on the Morely Farm.  This is where the first conference of the
Church was held, as well as the priesthood meeting where the Prophet
Joseph said the church would fill N. & S. America, it would fill the
whole earth.

Inside the Ashery at Kirtland.  Quite the process.

Brad & Sarah looking quite fine, in the finish carpentry shop of the
Sawmill at Kirtland.

The saw actually works on the last Sat. of every month.

Newell K. Whitney Home.  Across the Street is the Store.

In the Store, this was the room where Joseph would meet with
guests.  The table is the actual table that was there at the time
of Joseph.  He used it to draw out the plans for the Kirtland Temple
as well as the translation of the New Testament.

Room of the School of the Prophets.

Amy, Sarah, Rick, Brad, Josh, Mike, & Cassidy.

The John Johnson Home.

From these steps the Prophet Joseph would
preach the gospel.  This of course is actually Rick.

This is the room Joseph was sleeping in when the mob came and
drug him outside, tarred and feathered him, and tried to get him to
drink poison from a vial.  He saw Sidney Rigdon laid out already
with wounds to his head and thought he was dead. They have
removed the paint back to the original then refurbished the rooms
with all the original colors and patterns.

In this room Joseph and Sidney Rigdon saw the Father and the Son
in vision.

The Kirtland Temple, built 1833-1836, owned
by the Community of Christ Church.  Unlike
the LDS sites, we were charged an entrance fee,
and were not allowed to take pictures of the inside.
It would hurt postcard sales.

This temple was used for conferences, testimony meetings
missionary training, priesthood meetings, etc. Because
there was a veil system inside the rooms could be
divided, and 4 meetings could be held simultaneously.

I stole this picture from another site.  It shows one of the veils
up above.  I believe this is the Lower Court of the Temple.
That's it.  Hope I didn't bore you too much.
